The University of Central Europe in Skalica is a holder of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) enabling it to participate in the Erasmus+ programme. The Erasmus+ programme is a programme of the European Union in the field of education, professional preparation, youth and sports realising the period of years 2014 through 2020.
Through the Erasmus+ programme, UCEU students can participate during their studies in study stays at a foreign higher education institution (mobility for study purposes) or to participate in professional preparation - work internship in a company, factory or organization abroad (mobility for internship purposes).
Mobility for study purposes
- It is aimed at students of all degrees of university studies (Bc., Mgr., PhD.) starting from the 2nd year of bachelor’s degree of studies.
- It can last from 3 to 12 months.
- It is financially supported from the European Union funds.
Attending part of studies at a foreign higher education institution enables students:
- To improve their language skills;
- To get to know the style of instruction in other European countries;
- To establish new contacts and friendships;
- To gather many memorable experiences and memories;
Mobility for professional preparation purposes – work internship
- It is aimed at students of all degrees of university studies (Bc., Mgr., PhD.) starting from the 1st year of bachelor’s degree of studies.
- It is aimed at fresh graduates within 1 year after graduation.
- It can last from 2 to 12 months.
- It is financially supported from the European Union funds.
Participating in an internship abroad enables students:
- To improve their language skills;
- To acquire professional and practical skills;
- To be able to better understand economic and social conditions of the host country in the context of acquiring work experience;
- To establish new contacts;
- To be able to better adapt to the labour market requirements within the European Community;
